Computer Engineering is a discipline that combines both Computer Science and Electronic Engineering. Computer engineers usually have training in software design and hardware-software integration and electronics engineering. They are involved in many aspects of computing like architecture, design, implementation, and verification of the hardware and software for computing systems that are increasingly being used in embedded or networked environments. This field of engineering not only focuses on how computer systems themselves work, but also how they integrate into the larger picture.

The Computer Engineering Department offers 4 years UG and 2 years PG Programe in Computer engineering. Graduates of the Computer Engineering program can make their careers in the field of Information and Communication Technology, Electronics Industry, Academics and R&D. The institute has a computer centre with 300 computers with latest software and internet connectivity.
